Emmanuel Macron

Emmanuel Macron is a French politician serving as the President of France since May 14, 2017. He was born on December 21, 1977, in Amiens, France. Macron is a centrist who founded the political party La République En Marche! (LREM) in 2016. Before his presidency, he held positions as Minister of Economy, Industry, and Digital Affairs from 2014 to 2016 in the government of Prime Minister Manuel Valls. Macron is known for his pro-European Union stance, economic reforms aimed at modernizing the French economy, and policies addressing social issues within France. His leadership has been marked by both support and opposition, particularly during protests such as the “Yellow Vest” movement that began in 2018.
